Mitsubishi Repair: 1992 mits eclipse 1.8 AT stalling, intermittent problems, fusible link

my car stalls erratically. most of the time its ok, but sometimes dies on me while driving. it wont crank just a clicking sound everytime i turn the ignition, i later found out that everytime i remove and reinsert the fusible link near the positive pole of the battery, (marked ignition) it starts again just like majic. what can be wrong with my car, am i resetting something?

You should check your car's computer (located in a silver, metal box behind your radio).  It may be malfunctioning.  Read this article for more information:

If your ECU is failing, you'll have all sorts of strange, intermittent problems.  Removing the igition fuse may be manually resetting your ECU, and after you insert the fuse again, it's allowing your car to start.

I'd also recommend having your battery checked and your starter checked.  The fact that you sometimes hear only a clicking noise when you turn your key, but the engine does not crank, can indicate a failing starter motor.  Sometimes a starter can fail to crank the engine over if the battery is not providing enough current or your flywheel is sticking.
