Mitsubishi Repair: ignition problem, power transistor, plymouth laser

Question
1990 Plymouth Laser 2.0 Turbo - 5 speed
My car doesn't have spark to the plugs, don't know if it's coil, ignition power transistor or maybe even ECU (or other). Battery is good. Has relatively new rebuilt ECU. Have generic manual, not great help. Any site to indentify parts or removal, testing proceedures, etc.?
Thanks.

Answer
Jason,
Odds are that if you had your ECU rebuilt, it's probably not that.  I would guess it could be something with your ignition system; the ignition coil pack or power transistor as you indicated.  Also, check all your fuses.  If your main ignition fuse has blown, that can cause your lack of spark.

Another thing to consider is your timing.  If your timing is off enough, your ECU will detect that and not allow your engine to start (preventing it from destroying itself).
