Mitsubishi Repair: 94 Mitsubishi Galant, mitsubishi galant, drive belts

I can't figure out what wrong with my car the battery checked out fine and so did the alternator I was thinking that I put the alternator on wrong but it to easy and not that hard to mess up could you please tell me what I'm over looking.

Richard,
You didn't really tell me exactly what the problem is, so I'll just assume that your car is not starting or running correcly after you replaced your alternator.

Check to make sure your alternator belts (and any other attached drive belts) are securely seated.  Also, check that your ignition fuse and fuel injection fuse are still in good shape.  May times, those can blow when a new alternator is installed due to the sudden current surge.   

Also, some aftermarket alternators require an additional ground cable for the alternator to run properly.  Check your wiring harness.  Be sure it's securely attached and that the ground wire is firmly attached to the frame.  Clean away any rust around the ground cable.  You can also attach an additional 10 gauge wire from the ground connection of the alternator to another part of the car's frame.  Use a voltmeter to find a decent ground.
