Mitsubishi Repair: mitsubishi galant speedometer light, galant speedometer, mitsubishi galant

I have a 98 galant, and the light beneath the speedometer has gone out.  I tried to take the cover over the gauge off but was unsure.  What is the best way to take the cover off without breaking any plastic?  Is there any directions that you can help me with before attempting again.  I already bought the replacement bulb.  Thanks.

I don't know the specifics on replacing that bulb, but you will need to remove the dash panel around the console gauges.  If you want to find exactly where all the screws and bolts are attaching the dash, you'll want to pick yourself up a service manual.  Haynes and Chiltons both make service manuals for your vehicle.  Most auto parts stores like AutoZone, PepBoys, and Advanced Auto carry these manuals.  Usually only around $10-$15.
