Motorcycle Repair: clutch slipping
Clutch Master Cylinder
Hello Christopher,

Either the lever is unsuitable, or you made a mistake during installation.

Remove the lever's retaining bolt, and check the alignment of the holes.
If you have to push the lever in, more than a millimetre, in order to install the bolt back,
something is wrong.

If the lever is the right one for your bike, then most probably the push-pin (#3 in the picture) is misplaced and not correctly centered, keeping the piston pressed.

CAUTION: Also check the brake lever the same way (hole alignment). You could be in a very dangerous situation. Though you may not feel that something is wrong, you may find yourself
releasing the brakes after deceleration, but the bike keep slowing down stronger and stronger,
even until wheel-lock! Be extremely careful...

Regards and Best of Luck,
Lazaros.

P.S. :If still no clue, get back to me with a photo of your clutch lever and involving parts.
