PLEASE HELP!!! how do you fully remove the oil filter from a 1982 Yamaha Virago 920 ."

Its easy. You remove the 3 bolts on the round oil filter cover next to the foot brake.
ply it off gently. Watch close as 1 of the holes has an O-ring in place there.
Get the cover off, after draining the oil of coarse. The observe the position of the oil filter. the hole side goes in toward the engine. Pull it out, put in the new filter.
Change the O-rings on the cover, they should have came with the oil filter.
Re-install the cover, after lubricating the O-ring with oil so it slips in easily. Dont over tighten the bolts. Its all aluminum. About 7 to 10 inch pounds, just snog the, dont torque them.
