Question
no spark I am going to put new plug, points, condenser in but is there any way I can test the magneto and stator, and how can I test the coil.

Answer
Ross, the usual "no spark" issues with older bikes are that the point contacts are either dirty and corroded or they are worn down and not opening at the right time. Clean up what you have and disconnect the KILL switch on the handlebars and the ignition switch connector. IF the point contacts are not smooth and parallel, then replace them.

Magnetos are self-powered so don't need a battery. The KILL and IGN switches serve to ground out the system so you can shut the bike OFF.

Clean and gap the points, use a fresh plug and then see if you have spark. IF spark is there, but erratic, replace the condenser and try again.

You can test electrical components with a ohm meter, once you have the specs from a Honda shop manual.
