Harry, I may not be able to give you the correct answer. Some are repairable. If there are two small philips head screws on the face plate,they can be removed and there is a small o-ring apound the valve and a wave washer to keep the valve tight against the rubber packing behind it. The packing can be replaced for about $8.00 and the o-ring for about $4.00. If the face plate is riveted there are kits to drill them out and replace with self tapping screws. If you dont want to mess with it then you can purchase a new one but they usually cost upwards from $40.00.
