Motorcycle Repair: rear master cylinder, mity vac, 06 gsxr 600

Question
I replaced a rear master cylinder on my 06 gsxr 600 and cannot get proper compression on the brakes after bleeding it. I am out of ideas. Im sure im doing soemthing wrong. Any advice?

Answer
There could be a number of things wrong. The master cylinder could be set up wrong, the flexible hose could be seperating inside and you would not see it. But try something first try and get a hold of a mity-vac hand pump and hook it to the bleeder screw on the wheel caliper. Be sure to wrap the screw with teflon tape taking care not to cover the bleeder holes. Pump the vac and hold a vaccum and open the screw allow the fluid to start going down in the master but dont let it run dry but keep adding more fluid untill all air is out also maybe push down the brake pedal once and a while to push any excess air out tighten the screw and fill the master and see if it works now.
