Motorcycle Repair: Kawasaki ninja zx7r, kawasaki ninja zx7r, stator

Question
Hi,

I have a Kawasaki ninja zx7r. When the motorcycle is cold, it starts perfectly, however when the it's hot, it won't start at all. Basically, if I stop for gas or any other small errand, I'll be stalled for a good 45 minutes until my bike cools down enough to start. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Thanks

Answer
Amanda, Im probably not going to be a bearer of good news. Its possible that its one of two problems. The stator on the left side of the engine under the flywheel is breaking down and will need to be tested for output. Or the CDI or as Kawasaki calls it an Ignitor may be going away and fails when hot untill it cools down. Both can be expensive to repair have the electrical tested bfore throwing parts at it as electrcal parts cannot be returned once the package is opened and if you dont need it well thats money not well spent.
