my throttle cable broke. is there anyway to fix the cable without having to replace the part even if only temporarily

Tony. There is a cable kit to make new cable and solder ends on but used cables dont work well because the solder does not hold. Now for the bad news. This is a two cable system push/pull and neither cable is available any more. Try Steves Cycle Salvage in Tifton Ga 1-800-622-9253 and see if they can get one.
