Question
QUESTION: i have  replaced the battery the stator the rectifier and the charging rotor and it is still draining the battery what would cause this problem

ANSWER: Hi Steve,
There is a drain on the battery when the key is off it appears. You will need a voltmeter or test light and lots of patience to find where in the circuitry it's happening. Perhaps a faulty switch or pinched wire is causing the issue.

QUESTION: when i first start the bike it charges the battery like it should i get 12.6 volts at idle and at 2000 rmps it reads 13 volts or higher but after the bike warms up it it is only reading .02 above the battery voltage at 3000 rpms. and the battery voltage drops at idle. i can charge the battery and leave it sit for a week an it still will start when ever i want. sorry for the confusion i didn't give you all the info that i had. i thank you for your time and effort to help with my problem i am no bike mechanic but cant afford to take it to a garage.

Answer
Hi Steve,
You will want to measure the ac voltage from the alternator (stator) before it goes into the rectifier. You will need to identify which wires are used here and connect your meter across these. If the voltage does not drop here when the bike warms up it's most likely the regulator that is faulty. If the ac voltage does drop here when the bike warms up then the stator is likely the problem.
