Motorcycle Repair: front wheel and rotors removal, 1983 honda magna, shop time

Question
I have a 1983 honda magna vf45c, and i was wondering if you could tell me 1-how do i remove front wheel from bike? 2-to have my tire balanced do i also have to remove the rotors from the wheel, and if i do how do i remove them from the wheel.    thank you for your help.

Hi Bob,
You need to get a shop manual, that will assist in all your shop time with this machine. You'll need to get the front wheel off the ground, with the bike properly secured to a lift is the preferred way. If not you need to keep safety in mind. You don't want it falling and hurting someone or damaging things. No the rotors can stay on, if there was any imbalance from them it will be eliminated when the tire is balanced.
