mine smokes  are there parts availble for these. can it be rebuilt? the bike is in great shape  thanks   jim

Jim, Honda still sells pistons/rings, gaskets and other common engine parts. You can often find parts on Ebay auctions, as well.

Depending on the mileage, it may just need to have the top end pulled apart, cleaned and inspected. The piston rings can get stuck in the piston ring gooves, causing sealing issues. There may be a valve stem seal in the head, that needs replacing as well. Sometimes, you can just hone the cylinder, buy new rings, de-carbon the valves, replace the stem seal and put it all back together again with minimum cost. Depends on mileage and how it was stored/cared for over the years.
