Motorcycle Repair: 1999 gsx-r 750, gsx r 750, gixxer

Hello.....I have a 1999 gixxer....when I'm riding if I hit a hard bump or something the bike will sometimes cut off......one person said it could be an bad relay but I just want to make sure.....can u help?

Wayne,before I would buy any relays just go and check as may electrical connections as you can find. Even start with the battery and the groung cable. My sons GSXR did this when he would ride it home from college at probably unsafe speeds and would hit a bad spot in the road it would cut out. His ended being a bad ground to the frame connection the cable looked ok but it wasnt soldered inside to the eyelet very well and would lose continuity if josseled just right.
