Motorcycle Repair: My motorcycle does not start, honda magna 750, starter solenoid

Question
I stopped to fill it up my Honda Magna 750 and then it did not start anymore. The head lights and the electrical starter don't work. I already checked all the fuses and they are ok? What could be the problem?

Answer
Renan, if you have NO POWER anywhere, the fusible link, back by the starter solenoid, next to the battery may be blown out. That is the main circuit breaker for the whole bike. If it did blow, you will need to find out why, because most likely it will blow again if the original cause was a short circuit.

If you have power to the bike's instruments, tail light, signals, horn, etc. then the probable cause is the right side starter switch, which controls the starter circuit and the headlight functions. Check all of the wiring connections, including those in the headlight shell as well as the ignition switch base connector for possible failure/breakage.
