Motorcycle Repair: Carburetor Leak, kawasaki ninja, rubber boots

Question
I have a 1996 600r Kawasaki Ninja and I'm sure I have a leak. I don't know much at all about carbs so my question is how do I take the carb apart and fix it?

Answer
These are not easy to get off. Find out where the leak is first, fuel line from tank or fuel valve on tank. If you have to remove the carbs all four come off as one unit. Remove the lines then the cables then loosen the clamps on the carb holder joints by the cylinders then loosen the clamps on the air box side. Pull carbs back from the rubber boots and pull assembly out left side of bike. Now work on the carbs outside the bike.
