Motorcycle Repair: Acceleration, fuel valve, upper portion

Question
Have a 82 cb 650 custom and when you are on the highway and try to accelerate to 60  it starts bogging down like it's not getting enough gas.

Answer
This one will be hard to pinpoint. The fuel valve on the tank could be plugged. The carbs may not be getting enough fuel as the floats may be off. The slides in the upper portion of the carbs mixing chamber could be sticking. The main jets may be restricted with a fuel type of varnish. Also does this bike have an after market exhaust system or after market air cleaners? If so it may need rejetting to compensate. Could you get me some more information? Like if any mods have been made and elevation or if carbs have been syncronized or if the bike has been parked for a while.
