Plymouth Repair: 1982 Rampage Timming, thire, autozone

Hi Pete.  I think I've asked you questions in the past and always got good imformation.  I was going to check/set the timming on a 1982 Rampage with 2.2L engine, and I wanted to make sure I was following the correct procedure.  Many years ago (the last time I set timming)there was a vacume advance I had to disconnect before doing this.  Is there anything I need to disconnect on this engine or anything special I need to do first?  Also, is the number one cylinder the one all the way to the left or right.  To save me from bothering you all the time, is there a manual you would recomend I purchase?  Or better yet, (since I'm cheap) a web site you know of that would have a lot of information on the repair of this type of engine?  Thank you for your time.

you are no problem . thire is a good web site and it is free it is Autozone .com it will even give you diagraims and step by step try it and let me know what you think . of course if you have troulble you can ask me that is why i am here pete
