Motorcycle Repair: fuel leak, local bike shop, petcocks

I have a2002 883 sporters that has just started leaking fuel at shutoff after I shut engine off

Some of the petcocks have a rubber disc that is held in place between the handle and the valve body by a wave washer and is rebuildable.Debris gets into passageways and chews up the rubber packing when its turned on and off. Drain gas out and take it apart and see if the local bike shop has a repair kit or if its not repairable (pop rivets) instead of screws replace the whole valve.
