Motorcycle Repair: no lights on cb900f, 30 amp fuse, type fuses

Question
I was hooking up my signal lights on my bike and I guess I touched or hooked up a wire wrong and it blew the signal fuse and the main 30 amp fuse. I replaced both of them but I still don't have any lights. Signal, headlight, taillight, brake, etc. Is there any other fuses that I haven't replaced?

Answer
Hi Dave,

These usually have about four-15 amp cylinder type
fuses and the main 30 amp fuse.
There is a fuse for headlight and another for tailight
I believe. Fuse power comes from the ignition switch.

Test your fuses with a multimeter if possible to confirm
that they are good.

Also the headlight power comes from the fuse
to the starter button switch where it
is momentarily turned off when starting.
A poor connection inside the starter button switch can
sometimes cause headlight problems.

If your fuses and battery are good the lights should work.
Let me know if you need more follow up info.

Good Luck!
