Motorcycle Repair: clutch cable, clutch cable, clutch plates

hello, I just changed out my clutch plates put it all back together and now i have 1cm of slack in my clutch cable. the adjust is not helping its just too much slack.

Hi Kiel,

I wish I had the make, model and year of your bike
as there are so many types of clutch
mechanisms out there.

I suspect it is either the clutch actuating
lever cam out of place or it could be the clutch
spring plate is not in place over the clutch hub
splines.

Also if it has a push rod system there may
be something missing like a small
bearing on the clutch push rod.
