will brake calipers off a 1990 kawaski bayou fit on a 1997 kawaski bayou

Hi Shawn,

Switching parts is not an exact science
but usually trial and error.
They should fit but there are many models
of the Bayou, 185, 220, 300, 4x4 etc.
Looking at the Bayou 300 4x4 the calipers
look identical in 1990 and 1997.

There could be some minor changes but
externally they look like the same casting.
If you can send the measurements along
to whomever you are getting the calipers
from they can verify the size and shape
before you buy. Measure the mounting bolt hole
distances and any other measurements that
would help. If you have access to both
calipers then you can check them for yourself.

The calipers have the same basic part number
except for year updates so they have not changed
much externally anyway.
