Motorcycle Repair: 2007 nighttrain will not run, fuel pressure regulator, nighttrain

have to turn switch off and on alot to prime bike if it does start runs rough give it throttle it hesitates or dies acts as if out of time like its running on one cylinder first ir would die out at stops ran rough would not stay running- ran diagnostic said map sensor changed that no difference changed fuel pressure regulator fuel lines check valve and the fuel pump still will not stay running had to charge battery started good ran for a few minutes and died out then same thing prime like crazy starts give throttle dies and will not stay running was told that maybe the battery wasnt holding enough of a charge to keep it running it has efi closed loop fuel system and i am not sure what to could the battery be a problem would it cause all of this what do i do next???????? worked on bikes all my life and rode all my life but this efi system i cant seem to figure out any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated changed fuel filter also checked for holes in fuel lines just about all i could troubleshoot i have done the diagnostics still say map sensor not sure why i really need some help here my bike is my life thanks man

The dianostic you are on the bike is not deep enough to tell what the problem is. You are getting a general code. I would take the bike in and have a dianostic run on it. Right now it could be anything. The map senser might be getting high voltage or it might be getting low voltage. Both will cause the same problem. Haveing the dianostic run will tell what the problem is. Without it, you would be changing parts until you hit it.
