1966 Honda 305 scramb
Talked you a few days ago and I am restoring my Scrambler. I got it apart and don't know if I can get it back together with out some help. What would you suggest? I also have a 1967 305 Dream that needs restoring. Thanks Mike

Answer
Mike, I can put together a dual bike CD set for you, that covers most all of the steps (working backwards from the dis-assembly procedure). Not sure where you live, so I would need that info to try to direct you to someone in your locale who might be willing to assist. Using the exploded parts illustrations, most of it is pretty straightforward really.

I always lay the frame over the motor on Scramblers, after taping some padding around the engine bay area to prevent scratching. CA/CB motors just fall out the bottom, but CL engines are side loaded and awkward to install without some extra hands and precautions.

That blue looks quite pale in comparison to Honda Blue from that era, but you get to make it whatever you want!
