Motorcycle Repair: cluthe, master brake cylinder, clutch lever

Question
I have a 1986 honda shadow vt700c I have been all over internet talk to many people tried many things and yet my problem still persist my bike runs good and rides good but after it runs for awhile or sitting in traffic and gets warmer cluthe starts to slip I then have to let out some fiuld at the bleeder on the slave cylinder so that it won't slip this needs to be done any where 1 to 3 times a day. How can this be fixed? I got a feeling it is a very easy fix and that I'm missing something. Thank you for your time.  Bill

Answer
This should be an easy fix, in the master brake cylinder (near the clutch lever) there is a very small bleed hole, which may be blocked, or the piston in the master cylinder may not be returning fully.  Either way you will need to overhaul the master cylinder and your problem should be fixed.  Make sure you do not get any fluid on any painted surfaces, it is a very effective paint stripper.
Good luck,  Jan
