Motorcycle Repair: 1978 cm185t, ground connections, kill switch

I do not have spark at points or the coil or plugs it truns over but wont start?

Answer
No spark could be either due to a connection problem to the points, or a bad kill switch, or a bad spark unit.  I don't know the specifics for your bike, but It's worth checking for continuity across the killswitch, and making sure all the ground connections are properly made with no corrosion or paint causing a problem.  Good luck,  Jan
