Motorcycle Repair: oil coming through air filter, rocker boxes, rubber valves

could you tell me why or how there is oil leaking through my air filter? I have a 93 softail and in the area of the air filter is oil dripping out!

Answer
Your bike vents throught the heads and then goes to the air filter. In the Rocker boxes there are rubber valves which lets air through. Over time they get old and stiff and start letting a little oil through as well as air. The rocker boxes need to be removed and the rubber valves replaced
