Motorcycle Repair: Vibration putting feet to sleep, wheel bearings, jap bike

Question
QUESTION: I have a 99 Dyna thathas got a bad vibration at 70MPH puts the feet and hands to sleep! I have replaced the front e/mount, I have put a small washer under the needle to richen the mid range Bike runs and pulls hard but vibration at around 300RPM is unbelievable!?
I have loosened the front mount and shimed it witha 1.8mm shim as noted in other HD forums, I have replaced all the vacuum hosed as I thought it could be a air leak>
Im fresh out of ideas and ready to get a jap bike please help??
I will attempt to looseedn the rear mount as wel as the front and then re tighten I have not done that yet but feel the vibration is engine related as I ride fast i pull in clutch and all vibes go!!! Pleasehelp

QUESTION: Thanks Mike
We replaced the Kuryaken air filter with a diffrent one (for cosmetic reasons) we also replaced the back wheel bearings and re did the front head bearings on the steering it seems that the vibe is not road or wheel related as i said when I pull in the clutch and coast along the vibration gooes, i have just machined out of Brass a 250g weight and installed this into the handlebar ends as well with moderate responce but it has helpd reduce the handle bar vibration.

QUESTION: It is something that has just staerted sudenly and I have just had a mate ride and confirms that the footpeg vibration is really bad

Answer
If you are getting that much vibration and you have check the drivetrain as well as the frame, then it seems to be coming from the motor. If your motor has enought vibration to put your feet to sleep and it just started, then your flywheels might have come out of balance. that is the only thing in your motor that is balanced
Good luck and happy riding
