What is/was the compression for the '82 Magna 750 when new?
I did a compression test on my bike...all 4 cylinders were 125 Psi...
Just curious about the compression psi, when the bike was new? I cannot find it on Google.

Bill....  Honda compression readings for most of their street bikes is about 175 psi.

You may be getting somewhat lower readings if you didn't hold the throttle wide open, plus you have carb slides hanging down in the way of the airflow through the carbs at cranking speeds, because of the CV type carburetors.

Unless the engine has a lot of miles on it and/or the cams are out of time, then the readings are probably close to what they were when new.
