Motorcycle Repair: Fuel lines, vent hoses, drain hoses

Question
I have a 1977 Honda 750 which has two lines ,one is larger than the other.I know the larger one goes to the fuel thank but I don't know where the smaller one goes.can you please help   Thanks Don

Answer
Don, you didn't mention if you had a CB750K or CB750F or CB750A.......  Are you talking about the two lines from the carburetors? There are also crankcase vent hoses, crankcase drain hoses, carburetor vent lines and oil tank lines running through these bikes.

Go to www.cmsnl.com and select HONDA, then the model, then year application. There are online microfiche illustrations that show most of the fuel and/or vacuum/vent lines.

The smaller hose from the carburetors is an air vent tube and doesn't connect to anything on the 1977 models, as I recall.
