QUESTION: idle RPM is around 800, but when i stop setting still in heave traffic the RPM jumps around anywhere form 1000 to where its so low the engine cuts out. it will start right back up only to cut off again. at this point when i pull the clutch or put the bike in neutral the oil pressure gage is reading just above 0 and if i give it throttle the bike will stay running but at no throttle the bike will cut out. thanks again

Answer
Since your idle is jumping all around I would suggest getting a dianostic run on the bike. You may have a senser that is getting ready to go out. It should be stable at idle. Your oil pressure is dropping from the fact that the idle is so low
Good luck and happy riding
