Motorcycle Repair: 08 Road Glide oil fouled plugs at 5K mi., valve seals, vent hose

08 Road Glide Hi Mike, My 08 Road Glide 5,000 miles I checked plugs and they are oil fouled.Slight oil weep from rear cyl.crankcase vent hose to air filt.box. Is it common to have valve seals bad?I'm using HD synthetic oil. any thoughts would be appriciated.  Thanks, Tim

It is not common for the valve seals to go bad. They should last a long time. You could have oil leaking past the rings. You would need to do a compression test and a leak down test to dtermine if that is whats happening.
