Question
QUESTION: Hi , I own the above mentioned Bike,
the problem is that everytime i start the bike , it runs for harldy 2 or secs and then dies out.

the guy at the service center  asked me to hold the choke out for about 2 mins while is tart the bike, and then to let it go.

I need to ride the bike for a good solid 20 mins to keep it from cutting out.

What could be the problem?

ANSWER: Where you live, is it pretty cold? Also, how does it rin the choke out and how does it run with the choke in after it warms up?

QUESTION: No - i live in the UAE , its in the middle east. its a hot place..

after i hold the choke out for awhile, and then put it back in, it starts to slow down so much.. and it cuts of if i dont throttle it a little..

while giving it the initial revs, it sputters and misfires..

it rides well after hitting it into the first gear and pushing off.

but when i come to a stop or i slow down., i need to constantly keep the revs going , meaning theres no time when the accelerator is completely idle. its always moving for the first 20 mins , else theres a good chance the engine dies out.

Answer
First, it takes a while for your bike to warm up. If the motor is cold it will sputter without the choke out a little. the other problem is it sounds like the idle is not set right. Ride the bike for about 20 minutes, that way its completly warm. Looking at the carb you will see where the throttle cable goes in. right by the cable is a screw. Turn it inward and the idle will go up. You should set it so the bike idles at 900-1000 RPM
good luck and happy riding
