Motorcycle Repair: leaking fluid on clutch cable, clutch cable, trans fluid

QUESTION: cable has had fluid leaking where it swings down to frame.  I pulled the plug on the reservoir, and nothing is showing. what fluid do i get and how much do i put in?

Since the cable goes into the trans, I am going to assumn you are refering to the level of the trans fluid. You need to get fluid that is made for your trans. You can use harley trans fluid if you wish. You should have a dipstick on the trans just above the cable. It should be a allen head screw. Fill to the full mark
