Motorcycle Repair: Gearbox seal on WLA 42, clutch side, clutch basket

Question
The main shaft gearbox seal on the clutch side leaks oil like a sive, filling up the clutch with oil (slips like crazy). Is replacement of the seal an easy fix, or does it require the gearbox to be dismantled?
And is there any tutorials on the web that could help me?

Cheers
Gazz

Answer
You can replace the seal without tearing the trans apart. Its on the outside of the trans. You have to remove the primary, clutch basket and its behind that. I dont know of anything onthe web to look at. You would have to get a service manual for your bike
Good luck and happy riding
