Motorcycle Repair: LIGHT PROBLEMS, fxstc, low beam

Question
I HAVE A 99 FXSTC AND MY LOW BEAM AND MY REAR RUNNIN LIGHT DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE HIGH BEAM AND AND I HAVE BRAKE LIGHTS SO IM CONFUSED SO IF U COULD HELP IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Answer
First, remove the bulbs and with a test light check to see if you have power at the posts for the low beam and running light. If you do then you either have a bad bulb or the socket is corroded. If you dont, then you have a short in the wiring and you would have to following the wire to the power source to find it
