Question
hello, my name is Dylan and i really need your help... please my question is not a CBX1000 or a CBR1100r   but i would gladly appreciate your help.. I have a 1972 125cc suzuki dirt bike... if you cant help me please tell me some one who can.... Yesterday we were riding it on the street and i was running normal... but then we shut it off for a second and my friends dad is a mechanic and he put motor oil in the kick start chamber...( the empty space where the kick start thing is..) But after that it still wont start and every other mechanic says that that wouldn't hurt it... but its just to coincidental that directly after that it wouldn't start... we have put thought into a new coil but that's not it.. the spark plugs are getting spark and everything... but we just don't know what to do... its a 2 stroke and it has 3 gears its thing is TS 125.. whatever that means.... but please don't forward this to any other company that wont help me cause i know that you can... if you could tell me the problem i would appreciate it so much.. and if you're in my area i will send you $$175 cash no credit or check... but i truly need your help... please sir, help me with my dirt bike... if you don't give me what I'm looking for i will assume you have no idea what you're talking about in the motorcycle or dirt bike industry... but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me sir... i don't think you understand how much this would mean to me... thank you and have a nice day

Answer
I'm not sure about the exact layout, but the kickstart area is in the transmission, and there should be some oil in there.  If you crank seals are really bad, then this oil could have contaminated the spark plug, and spark plugs sometimes work when tested outside the engine but don't work under compression...  So I'd change the spark plug first.  Basically if you are getting spark, compression and fuel, it should run unless someone has messed with the ignition timing.  Does this engine have points?

Hope this helps,  Jan
