Motorcycle Repair: cam bolt torque specs, bolt torque specs, oil drain plug

Question
Working on sons 94 suzuki gs500 and need cam cap bolt torque specs also which cyclinder is #1....thanks

Answer
Cyl. 1 is the left cyl, sitting on the bike.

Torque Settings
These settings apply to the GS500 model years 1989 - 1999. It is likely that later model years use the same values in most cases, but it is strongly recommended that this be verified with a valid shop manual.

NOTE: with all torque settings, it is best to work to the middle of the specified range. For example, if the spec states 50 Nm - 80 Nm, use the midpoint of 65 Nm. If your torque wrench is out of tolerance, the torque applied has a better chance of being correct.
