Motorcycle Repair: Getting seat off, google search, owners clubs

I just bought a 2002 Suzuki Marauder.  I need to charge the battery, but cann't get the seat off.  I have ordered the manual, but will be days before it gets here.  Can you help me?

Check under the rear of the seat near the back. There might be two small bolts that secure the seat to the fender that will need to be removed before the seat will come off. You can also look for a small lock that your ignition key fits into; this could be mounted on a sidecover or on the back fender near the tail light, turning the key pulls on a cable that unlatches the seat.

If all else fails, do a Google search for online Marauder Owners clubs and join up - chances are there'll be lots of fellow "Marauderers" that can help.
