Motorcycle Repair: 2002 ninja, throttle cables, clymers

im having problems connecting my throttle cables to 2002 250 ninja..im wondering how to connect both cables to the carb to operate correctly.theres one on the left and one on the right of the butterfly flap..my issuse is connecting the cable to the one on the right.any idea how to connect the caable to the carb?

the opposite of how you took the cables off of the carb.
honestly if you are connecting the wrong cable this might be your problem, or just look, and try to figure how it goes in there... you could look at another one of those bikes and this could help, the factory service manual shows this, a Clymers might or might not. I understand the frustration, these can be tricky....
