Thanks

Answer
Yes, you wuold have to remove the rocker boxes and cylinder to replace. One thing you want to consider is, while you hae it down do both. You dont want to repair one and then down the road the other one starts leaking. You will alos what to inspect he cylinders for wear and mic them to make sure they are ok and not scratched. If the cylinders are on, make sure you replace the rings or you might get some smoking.
As to doing the work, I would suggest getting a service manula. In it you will find the steps you need. All the steps and torques you need would be to long to list on here and the manual would give you somthing to follow as well as pics
Good luck and happy riding
