i have a 1985 honda 200x that wont start it has spark

James,

-check for compression, it should
blow your finger off the spark plug
hole, use a gauge if you have one.
-try a new spark plug.
-Remove the plug on the bottom of the float
bowl, see if gas flows through from
the gas tank.
-try some carb cleaner or wd40 in the carb
intake, see if it fires.
-you may have a plugged or faulty fuel
valve or line, float needle/valve or
plugged carb jets.
-You may need to clean the carb.
