Motorcycle Repair: mufflers, screaming eagle pipes, twin cam

Question
do you recomend running torq cones in a set of screaming eagle pipes on a 1999 dyna twin cam with .560 gear drive cams.

Answer
I have no experience with Torque Cones, so I can't say for sure if they are worth the money or not. The theory behind them makes sense, but if you've properly matched your pipes, carb, air filter and cam (on the dyno) you really shouldn't need them. Especially if you've installed the Andrews TW60a cams, which I believe are the .560 cams that you referred to... Torque Cones in this case would probably reduce your HP rather than compliment it.
