Motorcycle Repair: Throttle Cable for 1980 Yamaha YZ 250, yamaha yz 250, throttle assembly

I need to install the throttle assembly and cable on this Yamaha.  How do I install this to carburator?

This is not my speciality, but from my old dirtbike days, you have to unscrew the top of the carburettor, then push the cable out of the bottom of the slide bu compressing the spring somewhat.  The cable can then be removed from the slide, and the new one installed.  Good luck,
