Motorcycle Repair: twin cam idle, fuel inj, air cleaner

99 t/c 95 in. fuel inj. what is the correct idle and how do you adjust it?

Answer
Your bike should idle at around 950 RPM. To adjust you have to remove the air cleaner and start the bike and let it warm up to temp. Looking at the air cleaner backplate you will see a small screw. Turn it to adjust. Once you have it adjusted, disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes so the ECM will remember the setting and your done
