Motorcycle Repair: clutch frozen to flywheel, brake calipers, rubber seals

Question
looking to buy a 1979 goldwing that has been sitting in a building for 10 years the cluth is frozen to flywheel how would i break it loose

Answer
After sitting unused for 10 years, the clutch is going to be the least of your worries - all the rubber seals will need replacing, the brake calipers will need rebuilding, the carbs will require a disassemble and cleaning, etc, etc. You are looking at a lot of work to get it roadworthy again, so I hope you get it for a very good price.

As for the clutch, there's not much you can do other than to check the cable to see if it is seized. If the cable is okay you can try starting the motor and see if it will disengage while it's running, but it's a long shot.
