Motorcycle Repair: Honda Nighthawk 450, honda nighthawk 450, bikes

Question
My '86 Honda Nighthawk 450 won't turn over. It has about 40,000 miles on it and I just got it about 6 months ago. I don't have any experience with bikes, as this is my first one, so it could be an incredibly easy fix. When I first got it it started fine, then the battery died. I put a new battery in, fully charged, and it will crank fine, the engine just doesn't kick in. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Answer
Curt, you need to figure out if the plugs have spark or if it's a fuel problem.  Pull a plug and lay it up against the head.  If you crank the engine you'll be able to see the spark.  If it's not spark, it will be fuel and it will require a car cleaning to fix it.
