Motorcycle Repair: honda cl100 (scrambler), honda cl100, ebay

it acts like it does not charge the battery anymore, what do i need to replace the charging system?
and were could i buy the parts?
any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Robert, there are three parts to that charging system, the stator, the rectifier and the voltage regulator,  You need to figure out which one isn't working and just replace that part.  THere should be three yellow wires coming out of the stator,  You need to check the resistance between each of the three wires and they should all have the same resistance.  THere should not be any continuity to ground from the yellow wires.  If that's okay it's the rectifier or regulator and proably the rectifier.  THere isn't a good test at home for a regulator.  

You can probably find parts on Ebay or one of the bike salvage places.  Honda may still have those available if you want to pay the price.
