Motorcycle Repair: radian, lock cylinder, joisey

i have a 1986 radian i bought of my co worker he gave me the title but i dont have a key. i spoke to a yamaha dealer and he told me to the the key cyclinder to a locksmith and they make me one is there another way to get a key im from northern nj is there a junkyark around here that you knw of

A key from a junkyard bike is not going to work on your bike unless you use the lock cylinder from the junkyard bike, too. If you do that, you will still need to change the lock cylinders on other parts of the bike if there are some (like a helmet lock or a seat lock). Most bikes have one key that works in all the locks, so you're better off to do what the Yamaha dealer said.
